The Great Perthshire Produce Pledge
Following on from the Tasting Tayside and Fife meet the buyer initiatives Great Perthshire has run in the last few years, this year we are launching the Great Perthshire Produce Pledge. We will encourage local hospitality outlets, tourist attractions and specialist retailers to pledge to include at least five items from local producers on their menu or retail offering, to celebrate the range, availability and prominence of local food and drink on local menus and shelves.

The aim of the Great Perthshire regional food group is to make Perth & Kinross a food and drink destination for everyone, showcasing the high quality produce, producers and hospitality locations across the region.
As part of that project we worked with the local trade to produce a definitive guide to the food we produce packed with great recipes by the people who know it best, Perthshire’s catering establishment.
Available at selected foodie outlets across Perth & Kinross and major booksellers locally and further afield, look out for it or pick up a copy!

Last year, we have experienced overwhelming generosity and raised more than £12,000 to give 500 people in need a great Christmas. This year, we want to achieve even more. Stay tuned.
