The Farm Shop at Comrie Croft stocks an amazing array of tasty local and organic produce as well as handcrafted tools and gifts, traditional kids toys and of course camping equipment.

Our friends at Tomnah’a Market Garden keep us well stocked with seasonal fruit, veg and flowers, all grown and handpicked using organic methods at the bottom of our road (zero food miles). There’s also delicious artisan sour dough bread and pastries from John at Wild Hearth Bakery, fresh lamb meat from Carroglen Farm (just a few miles away), local Perthshire honey and lots more (way too many to list, come visit us and explore).

Joining together their passion for good and simple food, they were both born and brought up in rural villages in India, where every meal of the day is freshly made using ingredients grown in local fields. This is the same experience they offer to all restaurant guests and takeaway customers, cooking fresh food by hand, using local ingredients and spices from their farm in Southern India.

At Praveen Kumar, our Chefs make delicious, authentic Indian meals by hand using the finest fresh ingredients that the UK has to offer. Once ready, your meal is frozen to seal in all the flavours, and packaged in boxes that can go straight from the freezer into your microwave or oven. Only the best ingredients are used in our recipes. All food at Praveen Kumar is hand prepared by chefs using the techniques that Praveen Kumar learned in India. We use vegetables from our own market garden in Perthshire, complimented with best of British meat, fish and dairy, combined with spices that are grown on Praveen’s parents’ farms, to give you the most authentic dishes. You won’t find any artificial preservatives added to our meals, just delicious food made with the same ingredients you would find in your own kitchen cupboard. We offer a large selection of vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free dishes, made to traditional Indian recipes.

Praveen Kumar chef prepared Indian meals are available individually and via a subscription club on their website, and are now also widely available at stockists across the country.
