As part of Perthshire Seed Library’s programme of events, join Alan Carter for a talk on his book ‘A Food Forest in Your Garden: Plan It, Grow It, Cook It.’
Alan Carter is a forester, gardener and writer based in Aberdeen. While studying forestry at the University of Aberdeen, he became interested in food forests but soon discovered that a lot of the published information about them did not apply well to the Northeast of Scotland. After decades of experiments in his allotment, he wrote a book about food forests in cool temperate climates called A Food Forest in Your Garden: Plan It, Grow It, Cook It.
Admission: £5. Please book via Eventbrite. £2 for members of Perthshire Seed Library.
